"account": "Durban City FC has announced the appointment of Eric Tinkler as the club's new head coach. Tinkler, who recently left Ghanaian club Asante Kotoko, joins City after a successful coaching career that includes stints at Orlando Pirates, Cape Town City, SuperSport United, and Sekhukhune United. Tinkler replaces Khalil Ben Youssef, who was dismissed from his position following a disappointing start to the season.\n\nSpeaking to the media after his appointment, Tinkler expressed his excitement about joining Durban City FC. He praised the club for its ambition and positive strides, stating that their success in the CAF Confederation Cup already made his decision easy. Tinkler and City chairman Farook Kadodia had previously worked together at Maritzburg United, where Tinkler led the team to the final of the 2019 Telkom Knockout. Kadodia, who served as Tinkler's employer during that time, cited their good working relationship as the reason why he decided to return to South Africa and rejoin the club.\n\nTinkler's immediate focus will be to build on last season's foundation and aim for success in the top eight of the league, progress in the CAF Confederation Cup, and compete in the Carling Cup and Nedbank Cup. He emphasized his intention to avoid making massive changes, as last season proved successful for the club. Tinkler's first match in charge of City will be a KZN derby against AmaZulu at Chatsworth Stadium next Tuesday.",
