"summary": "The UAE and Thailand have successfully concluded negotiations for their Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (Cepa), a deal expected to eliminate trade barriers and enhance bilateral relations. The talks, which began in 2023, covered various aspects of trade, investment, and cooperation enhancement. The next phase will involve finalizing the legal and technical procedures for the agreement's signing and implementation. The Cepa is anticipated to accelerate trade flows, create new investment opportunities, and bolster private sector collaboration in priority sectors such as advanced manufacturing, logistics, food security, digital trade, renewable energy, and precious metals. This agreement comes as bilateral non-oil trade between the UAE and Thailand surged by over 75% year-on-year in the first half of 2026, reaching $10.2 billion.",
