"summary": "Ibrahim Tanko and Godwin Attram are being considered as candidates for the interim Black Stars coach role following Carlos Queiroz's resignation. The decision comes after Ghana's poor start to the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying campaign, with the team losing 2-0 to Côte d'Ivoire and 4-2 to The Gambia. A five-member committee has been tasked with recommending a new coach, with the priority being Ghana's upcoming November double-header against Somalia. Tanko, who has previously served as an assistant coach of the Black Stars and managed the Black Meteors, and Attram, who is already part of the Black Stars' technical team, are among the names being discussed. The committee is expected to submit its report on Friday, October 9, giving the interim coach more time to guide Ghana through the crucial matches and help revive their qualifying campaign.",
