"account": "Former Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike has recalled the impact of the late Peoples Democratic Party chieftain, Daniel Orbih, on his political journey. Wike recounted how Orbih resisted pressure to support his bid for the governorship in 2015 and remained steadfast in his decision, even when faced with inducements. At a tribute held in Abuja for Orbih, who passed away at the age of 64, Wike emphasized that Orbih's support went beyond merely backing his ambition. He donated bulletproof Mercedes-Benz buses for his security and helped mobilize political structures in the South-South. However, Wike highlighted that what mattered most to him was Orbih's unwavering loyalty, as he never sought personal benefits from their relationship. Wike also praised Orbih's influence on the political careers of several politicians in the South-South and his role in bridging political divides in Edo State. Former Edo State Governor Adams Oshiomhole echoed Wike's sentiments, stating that Orbih's loyalty made him a better governor, even after their political disagreements.",
