"account": "Saudi Arabia's business confidence index reached 56.6 points in September 2026, indicating sustained optimism across vital economic sectors. The index, reported by the General Authority for Statistics, remained stable at 56.6 points, despite a minor decrease of 0.1 points from the previous month's 56.7, according to the report.\n\nOptimism in the business sector was evident, backed by companies' confidence in economic activity stability and ongoing growth across various industries. In the industrial sector, the index rose to 56.3 points in September, reflecting a 0.5-point increase from August's 55.8. This upward trend was attributed to heightened confidence in overall performance and anticipated sales for the forthcoming month.\n\nThe construction sector's index stood at 57.1 points for September, down from 57.3 in August, a 0.2-point decline. However, the optimism among sector companies persisted, despite concerns about input costs for the current and upcoming months. The services sector index reached 55.4 points in September, maintaining optimism, but experienced a 0.7-point drop from August's 56.1 due to reduced confidence in input costs for the current and next months. Overall, the monthly change rate for September saw a 0.2 percent decrease compared to the 0.3 percent increase observed in August.",
