"account": "Southampton manager Tonda Eckert avoided a lengthy ban after being handed a suspended punishment for his involvement in the Spygate scandal. The Football Association announced a six-week suspension from all football-related activities, a £28,000 fine, and a reprimand, but Eckert's ban will only take effect if he violates rules or regulations again. Eckert admitted his role in the unauthorized observation of opposing teams' training sessions during the 2025-26 Championship season. The independent disciplinary commission ruled that Eckert specifically authorized the spying, which led to the club being disqualified from last season's play-off final and docked four points. Despite the severe consequences, Eckert was allowed to continue his role at the Championship club and is set to lead the team against Portsmouth on Sunday. Southampton acknowledged this as a regrettable period in their history, stating that measures have been put in place to prevent similar incidents from happening again.",
