"account": "The Pakistan Super League (PSL 12) has announced its official dates for the upcoming season, which will take place from March 18 to May 2, 2027. This has been confirmed following consultations with key stakeholders at a meeting of the PSL Governing Council in London on September 1, 2026. All eight franchises will return to compete for the championship title. The tournament announcement comes after the successful 2026 season, which introduced an eight-team format and replaced the player draft with the league's first auction. Peshawar Zalmi emerged victorious in PSL 11 by defeating debutants Hyderabad Kingsmen by five wickets in the final held at Gaddafi Stadium, setting a record attendance of 32,461 fans. The Peshawar franchise won their second title after a nine-year wait. The announcement of the PSL 12 dates marks the beginning of preparations for the 2027 tournament, including direct signings, player retention announcements, the trade window, and the auction. Detailed schedules, venues, and ticketing arrangements will be revealed in due course.",
