"account": "KUALA LUMPUR: Renowned singer Amir Masdi has dismissed speculation of a rift with indie rock band Sekumpulan Orang Gila (SOG) after Amir's conspicuous absence from the stage during SOG's Best Band victory at the 25th Anugerah Industri Muzik (AIM25). The 29-year-old musician clarified that backstage, he was preparing for his own set when SOG's name was announced, affirming there was no discord between them. Amir explained that there were two misunderstandings: his absence from the stage and SOG's failure to mention his name. He emphasized his complete comfort with the situation. Amir was on stage, celebrating SOG's win, getting ready to perform his own hit. He pointed out that SOG's win was for their track Mahkota, featuring Amir as a collaborator, and that his absence was not a cause for concern. When SOG members apologized via phone and WhatsApp, Amir reassured them that he understood their mistake and saw the award as their own. He expressed his happiness to be part of Mahkota and confirmed their friendship remains strong. Amir also announced his upcoming AM:PM Showcase at Zepp Kuala Lumpur on Dec 20, promising a personal evening celebrating his journey and the fans who support him.",
