"account": "Predicting Adley Rutschman's Contract Extension Price with the Boston Red Sox originally appeared on NESN. Adley Rutschman is one of the best catchers in Major League Baseball, and the Boston Red Sox are interested in retaining him after trading a large prospect haul for him. However, the catcher market is currently weak, with few elite catchers available. The Red Sox have shown their appreciation for Rutschman by making him their primary catcher during a challenging season, despite pitching being a strength for their team. Catcher representative, Breslow, praised Rutschman's leadership qualities and described him as a high-quality teammate.\n\nWhen discussing Rutschman's future, the Red Sox will need to consider multiple factors, including his desired Annual Average Value (AAV) for the contract, which is expected to be higher than the current market leader Will Smith's $17.5 million deal over six years. The Red Sox might have to offer a contract around six years and $120 million, but it is possible that they could secure him for a lower price.",
