"summary": "Ekiti State is marking its 30th anniversary. Stakeholders have called for greater unity and collective effort to build on the progress recorded over the past three decades. They made the call at a public hearing organised by the Ekiti State House of Assembly.\n\nThe hearing, themed “Ekiti at 30: Reflecting on Our Journey, Charting Our Future,” brought together former governors, lawmakers, technocrats, academics, and traditional stakeholders to review the state’s journey and chart a roadmap for the next three decades. Participants acknowledged progress in infrastructure, education, human capital, and economic growth.\n\nAccording to the Daily Post Nigeria, former Governor Chief Segun Oni congratulated the people on the anniversary, saying Ekiti had achieved considerable stability and growth. He urged citizens to support the administration of Governor Biodun Oyebanji in deepening development. The Speaker of the House of Assembly, Adeoye Aribasoye, said the hearing aimed to interrogate the state’s 30-year journey, identify challenges, and generate actionable measures.",
