"account": "Dr. Lanre Glover, the chairman of the Nigeria Basketball Federation Electoral Committee, has announced that the deadline for candidates to submit their nomination forms for the upcoming NBBF board elections is October 8 at 2pm. The deadline is non-negotiable, and failure to meet it will not be tolerated by the committee. A full schedule for the elections has been made public, and stakeholders and basketball enthusiasts are eagerly awaiting the polls that will bring in a new board to manage the sport in Nigeria. The election process will culminate in an elective congress scheduled for October 15 in Abuja. The Electoral Committee, comprising seasoned professionals, technocrats, and experienced sports administrators, was approved during the federation's Extraordinary Congress in Yola, Adamawa State.
