"account": "In the latest adaptation of Stephen King's \"Carrie,\" directed by Mike Flanagan, fans of the author's works can spot several Easter Eggs. Ralph, Carrie's father, is employed by LaMerk Industries, a metalworks company in the Dark Tower series that is involved in anti-Tower activities. Margaret, a teacher at Carrie's new school, works at S-Mart, a store that also appeared in Sam Raimi's \"The Evil Dead\" franchise. Chris and Billy obtain the pig blood for Carrie's torment at a hog farm owned by the Sombra Corporation, which also serves The Crimson King in King's universe. The film's marquee advertises a Brian De Palma celebration, the same director who made the original 1976 \"Carrie.\" Michael Trucco, who plays Carrie's father, was previously seen as Anders in \"Battlestar Galactica.\" Tahmoh Penikett and Katee Sackhoff, who play Ralph and Chris' dads respectively, both appeared in \"Battlestar Galactica.\" The town's residents discuss the prom plans, with Aaron Douglas and Tricia Helfer, who portrayed Chief Tyrol and Number Six in \"Battlestar Galactica,\" joining the conversation, hinting at a series-wide fan reunion. Additionally, Carrie possesses \"The Shine,\" her telekinetic abilities that connect her to other telekinetics in King's books.",
