"account": "The Accra Art Centre has inaugurated an international contemporary art exhibition titled 'Beyond Creation: Humanity, Nature and Spirituality – A Universal Message'. The event, which commenced on Monday, October 5, 2026, is a collaborative effort between the Embassy of Italy in Ghana and Togo, and the National Commission on Culture. The exhibition commemorates the 800th anniversary of Saint Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of ecology, and draws together 40 international artists who explore the intricate relationship between humanity, nature, and spirituality. The exhibition is curated by Nuna Adisenu-Doe and Andrea Walter Ghia, who selected a diverse range of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, photography, and new media installations. These works draw profound connections between Christian mysticism and traditional African eco-spiritual systems. Ambassador Laura Ranalli of Italy and Togo emphasized that the exhibition was conceived around three interconnected themes — humanity, nature, and spirituality. She highlighted that this is not merely about environmental love, but also about self-love, thus encapsulating the themes of humanity, nature, and spirituality. Ranalli further explained that the exhibition aims to explore how different cultures and traditions perceive humanity's relationship with nature and spirituality. The Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts also underscored the importance of maintaining harmony between humanity, nature, and spiritual consciousness, as highlighted by the exhibition.",
