"account": "Apple is reportedly co-developing \"second-party\" smart home accessories with LG, but recent leaks suggest there may be more companies involved in this initiative. Alongside the new Apple hardware expected to launch next week, such as the Apple TV 4K, HomePad, and HomePod mini 2, the company has been working with LG on a range of accessories that will bear the LG branding. Leaker pdfu has discovered evidence of two additional \"second-party\" products in iOS 27.2: a Schneider-branded smart thermostat and a temperature/humidity sensor. These items are currently the only \"second-party\" products designated in Apple's HomeKit database. The designation of accessories as \"second-party\" allows them to receive special treatment within the operating system. Although it remains unclear if Apple collaborated closely with Schneider on these accessories, the code in the software suggests a similar partnership may exist.",
