"account": "Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth honored the crew of the USS Abraham Lincoln with the Presidential Unit Citation, the highest honor for a military unit, at the carrier in Washington on Wednesday. The citation recognized the ship and its accompanying vessels for 40 days of combat operations and a maritime blockade against Iran in support of Operation Epic Fury during their record-long deployment. The Lincoln had been at sea for 265 consecutive days, enduring supply shortages, crew stress, and poor mental health. Hegseth emphasized the crew's resilience and adaptability in overcoming the challenges faced during the mission.",
