"summary": "Golf star Jon Rahm is leaving LIV Golf due to unacceptable terms, according to his lawyer. Rahm, a former world number one and double major winner, was one of the most prominent golfers to defect from the PGA Tour and join LIV Golf, a Saudi-backed league.\n\nRahm's decision to leave comes after LIV Golf filed for bankruptcy protection last month, following its deep-pocketed Middle Eastern backers pulling out. According to the Daily Maverick, Rahm's attorney stated that he reviewed the proposed terms of LIV Golf's planned next iteration, LIV 2.0, and found them unacceptable.\n\nRahm had won three consecutive season-long individual titles on LIV Golf since joining the circuit in late 2023. His departure deals a significant blow to LIV Golf as it attempts to relaunch itself after declaring bankruptcy.",
