Speaking at a news conference in Abuja, Umahi dismissed rumors of division within the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly surrounding his relationship with Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike. Umahi stated that previous administrations had failed to provide significant projects for the South-East, but the Tinubu administration was now implementing a \"barrage of projects.\" He highlighted recent approvals for major infrastructure projects, including the Obanewi-Okiwe axis connecting parts of Imo and a road linking Otuocha in Anambra to Ibaji in Kogi. Umahi also emphasized the successful completion of the Second Niger Bridge and its associated bypass projects, underscoring the Federal Government's dedication to enhancing transportation infrastructure in the South-East.",
