"account": "Former Tottenham Hotspur defender Ramon Vega plans to run in next year's Fifa presidential election, aiming to replace current leader Gianni Infantino. The 55-year-old is the first individual to confirm his candidacy, pledging to reunite the global football family, modernize the sport for the 21st century, and restore stability and credibility to FIFA. Vega, a former Switzerland defender who also played for Celtic and Watford, retired from football in 2004 and has since worked in finance. He argues that FIFA needs fundamental reform, not cosmetic changes, and that the current leadership has demoralized the game. Meanwhile, Sheikh Salman bin Ibrahim Al Khalifa, president of the Asian Football Confederation, has distanced himself from an external review of FIFA's governance system, proposing that the council set up a working group to examine potential reforms instead.",
