"account": "Former world number one Jon Rahm will depart LIV Golf following his rejection of the proposed terms for the circuit's upcoming iteration, LIV 2.0, according to multiple media reports on Wednesday. His attorney informed a LIV bankruptcy hearing that Rahm independently assessed the proposed terms and deemed them unacceptable, stating he will not be participating moving forward. LIV Golf and Rahm's agent have yet to confirm the reports. The high-profile player has won three consecutive individual titles on LIV since joining in late 2023, following his Masters victory in 2022. The news of Rahm's departure arrives two days after the rebel circuit secured funding from BC Partners to bolster its financial stability ahead of the 2027 season, pending bankruptcy court approval and customary conditions. LIV Golf filed for Chapter 11 protection in September, entering a court-supervised restructuring process aimed at completion by early 2027, with several star golfers, including Rahm, holding claims totaling $7.5 million.",
