"account": "On Wednesday, the Philadelphia Eagles parted ways with second starter Cam Jurgens on their offensive line. This occurred a day following right tackle Lane Johnson's retirement announcement. General Manager Howie Roseman clarified that the trade was not driven by the season's performance but aimed at securing a favorable deal for the team's future. Roseman explained that the trade presents valuable opportunities to compete at a high level for an extended period. The Philadelphia Eagles received a 2027 fifth-round pick and a 2028 second-rounder in return for Jurgens, who had a four-year contract extension signed ahead of the 2025 season. This contract included $16 million in guaranteed money for 2027, and Jurgens played as the starting center before moving to left guard upon Landon Dickerson's injury. Roseman noted that the team has a strong defensive side to re-sign and extend commitments to, alongside discussing the benefits of a trade that will contribute to significant changes in the Eagles' offensive setup.",
