"account": "Declan Rice is reportedly close to finalizing a new long-term contract with Arsenal, according to sources cited by BBC Sport. The England international midfielder, who joined Arsenal from West Ham United for £105 million in July 2023, has become an indispensable player for the Gunners. As per BBC Sport's March report, contract negotiations with Rice had commenced, and the process seems to be nearing completion. The 27-year-old has featured in over 150 matches for Arsenal and has also been a vital member of the England national team. Manager Thomas Tuchel recently praised Rice, stating that he is among the top midfielders in Europe. The player is currently earning a reported £240,000 per week, which would increase significantly under a new contract, potentially matching the salary of fellow high-earning Arsenal player Bukayo Saka, who reportedly earns around £350,000 a week. This news comes in the wake of Arsenal's new four-year contract with Mikel Arteta, announced on Wednesday.",
