"summary": "The Pakistan Peoples Party has nominated its chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, as its new member of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan. This follows the resignation of senior lawyer and PPP Senator Farooq H. Naek from the commission, citing personal commitments. According to Dawn, Naek expressed gratitude for being appointed to the Judicial Commission of Pakistan from the treasury benches, calling it a \"great honour and privilege\".\n\nNaek had participated in several Judicial Commission of Pakistan proceedings to appoint judges for different high courts and the Supreme Court. As a lawyer, he represented Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari before the Supreme Court in a presidential reference moved by his father, President Asif Ali Zardari, in the murder case of former prime minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.\n\nThe nomination of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to the Judicial Commission of Pakistan is expected to be formalized with an upcoming notification, sources told the Daily Times.",
