"account": "The Federal Government's Federal Controller of Works, Anambra State Field Headquarters, Timothy Emenike, has dismissed rumors alleging that the recently installed demarcation on the First Niger Bridge has been destroyed. Emenike clarified that the ministry only created openings at certain points around the demarcation to facilitate vehicle U-turns in emergencies and to allow for traffic agencies like the Federal Road Safety Corps, fire service, and other emergency workers to carry out their duties. The First Niger Bridge, connecting Onitsha in Anambra State to Asaba in Delta State, was closed for emergency rehabilitation and maintenance from September 7-21 due to structural damage. Following the completion of all construction works, Emenike believes the bridge may be reopened before the end of the week.",
