"account": "KUCHING, Malaysia - The Sarawak state assembly is predicted to be dissolved in November or shortly after the state's 2027 budget is approved, according to Abdul Karim Rahman Hamzah, the Sarawak tourism, creative industry and performing arts minister. Speaking to reporters after the Sarawak Women of Tomorrow 2026 event, Hamzah revealed the budget will be presented during the upcoming assembly meeting. He emphasized that the Sarawak government would prevent the state legislative assembly's term from expiring automatically in February 2027, as the chief minister typically seeks the assembly's dissolution. With only a few months remaining until the term ends in February, the minister believes an election should take place soon. The assembly meeting is scheduled to commence on October 12 and conclude on October 21.",
