"account": "A ranking member of Parliament’s Committee for Sports, Vincent Ekow-Assefuah, has accused the Minister for Sports and Recreation and the National Sports Authority (NSA) of fabricating non-existent portfolios for VISA applicants. In an interview with JoyNews Channel on Wednesday, Assefuah alleged that the NSA charged $8,000 and $9,000 to create false positions for applicants, including roles they did not hold. The allegations come after a letter was sent to Amankwaah Jemimah, claiming that Comfort Ahiadome was listed as a board secretary, despite her predecessor Mavis being aware that Ahiadome was not the right person for the position. Additionally, Assefuah claimed another instance of impersonation, where Felicia Ahiadome was falsely presented as a Procurement Officer to the US Embassy, although she was not part of the NSA's Procurement Officers roster at the time. The Minority in Parliament has demanded the immediate dismissal and prosecution of Kofi Eddie Adams, the Minister for Sports and Recreation, and the CEO of the Ghana Tourism Authority, in connection with the 2026 FIFA World Cup visa scandal.",
