"account": "A NASA visualization released on April 6, 2026, depicts a dark Moon obscuring the Sun, accompanied by handwritten annotations made by Artemis II astronauts. Reid Wiseman, Victor \"Ike\" Glover, and Jeremy Hansen from the Canadian Space Agency, were aboard their Orion spacecraft, observing impact flashes and recording their locations. The astronauts reported witnessing five extremely faint \"pinprick\" bursts of light on their journey, which occurred as rocky fragments collided with the Moon's surface. The spacecraft was 46,000 miles away from the lunar surface at the time of these observations. Between April 1 and April 10, 2026, the Artemis II crew embarked on a lunar mission, capturing not only breathtaking imagery but also valuable scientific data. Now, the entire lunar science dataset from this historic journey is made accessible to the global scientific community and the public for further examination. The raw images can be viewed, crew audio observations listened to, and additional information explored on the NASA website. Image credit: NASA.",
