"account": "A passenger tragically lost their life after experiencing a medical emergency on a Kenya Airways flight en route from Nairobi to Lagos. The incident unfolded on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, approximately 20 minutes prior to the aircraft touching down at Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Nigeria. At around 9:20 p.m. local time, the individual became unresponsive. Kenya Airways' crew promptly initiated first aid measures in accordance with their protocol and adhered to the necessary emergency procedures as the flight continued its journey to its destination. The aircraft landed safely at its intended destination at 9:41 p.m., and medical personnel boarded the plane to tend to the passenger. Further examination revealed that the individual had unfortunately passed away.\n\nWitnesses have reported that the passenger had displayed aggressive and restless behavior during the flight, with other passengers intervening at some point. During the turbulence, the individual attempted to open the emergency exit door, causing alarm among fellow passengers. Kenya Airways has expressed its deepest condolences to the deceased's family and friends, and apologized for the inconvenience the incident may have caused other passengers. The airline is actively collaborating with the deceased's family, local authorities, and aviation regulators to offer the necessary support. The specifics surrounding the passenger's demise are set to be investigated as part of the ongoing response from the relevant authorities.",
