"account": "Southampton manager Tonda Eckert will retain his position after being given a suspended six-week ban for his involvement in the Spygate scandal. The Football Association (FA) initially proposed a three-month ban, but the independent regulatory commission reduced it after recognizing considerable mitigation, particularly Eckert's genuine contrition. The club was also fined £28,000 and received a reprimand. Eckert was charged with misconduct in July following a hearing that took place at the end of the previous month. Southampton had already been expelled from the Championship play-offs in May due to their involvement in spying on training sessions of Oxford United, Ipswich Town, and Middlesbrough before their play-off semi-final. The espionage was deemed authorized by Eckert and was ruled as a contrived and determined plan from the top down. If Eckert is found involved in any further spying between now and the end of next season, he could be banned from all football activities.",
