"account": "Saylor Halvorsen delivered a dazzling performance, amassing 22 kills to lead Thousand Oaks High School to a convincing 25-19, 25-22, 25-17 victory over Westlake on October 6. The junior pin hitter, who was named Ventura County Star Girls Volleyball Player of the Year, stated, \"I got my momentum. I was like, 'Let's get this over with.'\" Halvorsen's relentless attacking kept the Warriors in control, stringing together three straight kills in the third set to seal the match. Fellow outside hitter Halle Bryce contributed 11 kills and three blocks, forming a formidable duo with Halvorsen. Thousand Oaks' setters, Aella Keays and Savannah Tung, provided crucial assists, enabling the team to maintain high-performing hits. Head coach James Park praised his team's dynamic hitting, highlighting their ability to hit the ball high above the block, even after block attempts. Winning the match was crucial for Thousand Oaks, as it improved their season record to 24-8 and 4-4 in the Marmonte League, positioning them for the league's final CIF-Southern Section automatic bid. Westlake, who had previously defeated Thousand Oaks in five sets on September 17, remained optimistic, needing to defeat both upcoming opponents to secure an at-large bid.",
