"account": "South African singer Tyla has been nominated for a 2026 Soul Music Train Award for her hit song Chanel. The R&B/Soul Song of the Year nomination puts her in a competitive category alongside fellow African artist Tems, who was recognized for What You Need. Joining the duo are major names in contemporary R&B, including Bruno Mars, Kehlani, Brent Faiyaz, Daniel Caesar and Justin Bieber. For Tyla, the nomination marks another significant milestone in her rapid rise to international stardom, as she seamlessly blends amapiano, pop and R&B. The winning R&B/Soul Song of the Year will be determined entirely by viewers' votes, opening up a new voting opportunity for Tyla's fans until October 16. The 2026 Soul Train Awards will take place on November 27, with the event broadcast live from Chicago. This recognition highlights Tyla's growing influence in the global music scene, as she continues to expand her fanbase beyond South Africa.",
