"account": "Apple and LG are teaming up to develop smart home devices, according to FCC filings uncovered by MacRumors. Bloomberg reported that Apple is collaborating with LG Electronics on accessories for Apple's upcoming home hub and other home products, based on regulatory documents. The FCC records contain label-placement drawings, three-dimensional renderings, and technical reports, offering a glimpse at the devices' designs and functionalities. The designs have been compared to Motorola ROKR devices, raising questions about Apple's branding strategy. The collaboration may allow Apple to bring these products to market sooner than if developed independently, or it could indicate Apple's desire to outsource certain aspects of their development. Further information can be found on the linked site, with additional coverage available on Six Colors.",
