"account": "The Ministry of Endowments and Islamic Affairs in Qatar anticipates over 12,000 individuals will apply for the 2027 Haj season, according to Ali Al Misifri, the Haj and Umrah Affairs Department director. Registration opened on September 20 and closes on October 20. Applicants will be chosen through an electronic draw at the end of the month, ensuring fairness and transparency in the process. Approved pilgrims will receive a text message and a week to finalize arrangements with a certified Haj campaign, paying a QR10,000 advance payment, which will be deducted from the total cost.\n\nTechnical issues affecting some applications, such as adding a companion or guardian and correcting residency or age details, are being resolved. Applicants can reach the department's hotline at 132 during official hours for assistance. The Haj registration system is electronically connected to the Ministry of Public Health, enabling medical fitness results to be displayed within about 90 minutes. Additionally, Saudi authorities have imposed six health-related restrictions on pilgrims to safeguard public health.",
