"account": "Joshua Kerry, 28, has appeared in Westminster Magistrates Court, charged with preparing terrorist acts against former MP Ann Widdecombe and Reform UK leader Nigel Farage. The accused, who wore a thick beard, grey sweatshirt, and trousers in court, spoke only to confirm his Rotherham address and birthday. Accompanied by four custody officers, Kerry was remanded in custody, set to appear at the Old Bailey on Friday. He faces a new charge of preparing terrorist acts from 31 May 2024 to 8 July 2026, involving research on targets and attempts to gain entry to Nigel Farage's home. In April 2025, Farage's partner discovered damage to their front door and a bottle of lighter fluid in the porch. Additionally, Kerry allegedly conducted online reconnaissance on prominent individuals and institutions.",
