"account": "The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) has warned social grant recipients to be cautious about making changes to their bank accounts and payment methods. Such alterations could cause delays in receiving their payments. Sassa advises beneficiaries to avoid frequent changes, as doing so may result in missed payment deadlines. The agency noted that beneficiaries should only update their banking information if absolutely necessary to maintain the efficiency of the social assistance system. Sassa also emphasized that changing bank accounts does not relieve beneficiaries of their contractual duties to lenders or other creditors. It is advised that beneficiaries seek proper financial advice if facing issues with loan repayments or other financial obligations.",
"summary": "Beneficiaries who change their bank accounts close to the agency's payment processing dates could miss the cut-off for the next payment cycle",
