"account": "Stockholm police announced on Tuesday that they had fired upon an armed individual outside the Royal Palace in central Stockholm following reports of a threatening situation involving a weapon. The officers who responded to the incident discharged their firearms at the man. He was subsequently transported to the hospital, according to Stockholm police spokeswoman Susanna Rinaldo, who informed AFP that his injuries were deemed serious but not life-threatening. Rinaldo did not specify the type of weapon utilized, emphasizing that the police operation was still in progress but posed no immediate danger to the public. Swedish newspaper Expressen reported that the man confronted palace guards armed with a knife and requested to be shot. In a follow-up report, police stated they were investigating aggravated threats against a public official and an aggravated knife offense, without offering additional details.",
