"account": "Glasgow, Scotland (AP) — Martin O'Neill has chosen to remain as Celtic manager after a period of reflection following three consecutive losses, including two against arch-rival Rangers, before the international break. The 74-year-old O'Neill expressed his determination to continue leading the club and striving for the league title, which was the primary objective set at the beginning of the season. O'Neill, who recently underwent a minor medical procedure in August, signed a one-year contract extension with Celtic following their league victory last season as interim manager. Celtic currently leads the league but suffered defeats to Rangers in the Scottish Premiership and Scottish League Cup, as well as a loss to Ferencvaros in the Europa League. O'Neill acknowledged that the recent results were not ideal but emphasized his readiness to continue managing the team.",
