"summary": "The Nigerian Army successfully repelled an Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP) attack in Kukawa, Borno State, killing more than 25 terrorists and recovering weapons and ammunition. The attack was launched from four different directions on troops of the 101 Special Forces Battalion, but the soldiers responded with superior firepower, tactical maneuvers, and effective coordination. ISWAP forces fled after the encounter, with preliminary assessments indicating 14 bodies recovered. The Army expressed condolences to the families of the fallen soldiers and highlighted the combat readiness and resilience of troops operating in the North-East Theatre. The military emphasized the importance of air-ground coordination and joint operations in disrupting terrorist activities. Further operations are underway to recover additional weapons, track the fleeing terrorists, and prevent them from regrouping.",
