"account": "Portuguese fans have been left in disbelief following Cristiano Ronaldo's lengthy letter and list of demands from national team head coach Jorge Jesus. The eight demands, revealed in Ronaldo's letter, include Jesus admitting to courting him to continue playing for the team, expressing Ronaldo's love for playing for Portugal, and that Jesus misled him during the Norway game. Ronaldo also demanded that Jesus not tell him how to interact with Portuguese fans again, and that he be compared to legends Pele and Maradona. Many fans have reacted negatively to Ronaldo's demands, with some calling him a \"man-child\" and comparing him to the fictional character 'Homelander'. One fan criticized how Ronaldo's statement led to a show of influence, suggesting it was a \"man-child behaviour\". Another fan felt that Jorge Jesus should have been more respectful by not asking Ronaldo to warm up as an unused sub after changing his mind based on the match's outcome. Despite the backlash, some fans stood by Ronaldo, hoping that an agreement could be reached between the two.",
"summary": "Cristiano Ronaldo’s lengthy letter and list of demands from Portugal head coach Jorge Jesus have ruffled the feathers of many fans. The greatest player in Portuguese history, Ronaldo, had an unceremonious exit from the national team set-up he has played in since 2003, after walking out of their recent international camp after being an unused substitute in a 2-1 win over Norway.",
