"account": "Lionel Messi delivered one final performance for Argentina on his 21-year international career, scoring a goal and setting up two more in a 3-0 friendly win over Benin in Buenos Aires. The historic match drew over 85,000 fans to the Monumental stadium, many wearing the iconic blue-and-white colors of La Albiceleste. The stadium lit up with fireworks and a stirring rendition of the Argentine national anthem as fans poured their hearts out.\n\n39-year-old Messi, standing proudly with family among the stands, noted the many emotions swirling around him. He reflected on his late father, Jorge, and his pride in wearing the national team's jersey for over two decades. \"Not coming anymore is going to hurt a lot,\" Messi said, admitting he would love to continue playing for Argentina if possible.\n\nEarlier, a massive \"10\" shirt with the word \"Gracias\" was unfurled at the National Flag Memorial in Messi's hometown, Rosario. As the bus bearing his name rolled through the streets, thousands lined up to pay tribute. When Messi took the field, Benin's captain looked bewildered, handing him a gift and letter during the pre-match handshake.\n\nArgentina took the lead through a well-executed assist from Nicolas Otamendi, one of Messi's teammates who also ended his international career after 17 years together. Messi then set up Nico Paz for the second goal, ultimately converting a penalty for his 126th international goal, sealing his place as the country's most-capped and top scorer in Argentina's history. The stadium erupted as teammates, opponents, and referee joined Messi for embraces, followed by a breathtaking drone show and a moving tribute by Argentine singer Soledad Pastorutti.",
