"account": "The BJP-led NDA triumphed in the inaugural elections for Silchar Municipal Corporation, securing 34 out of the 42 seats on Tuesday. Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma remarked that Congress underperforms even during paper ballot elections, attributing this to a lack of familiarity with the process. BJP candidates Bijendra Prasad Singh and Bhakti Sen Talukdar clinched their wards unopposed, marking the first civic body in Silchar in six years. The BJP, alongside Asom Gana Parishad, garnered 32 and 2 seats respectively, while Congress claimed two, with Independents winning the remaining four. The election saw a total of 133 candidates from various parties contesting across 40 wards.",
