"account": "Lionel Messi concluded his remarkable international career with a final goal for Argentina in a 3-0 friendly victory against Benin. The 39-year-old scored a penalty and assisted two other goals, becoming the first player to achieve both records: 208 appearances and 126 goals for his country. The match took place at the Monumental Stadium in Buenos Aires, where more than 85,000 fans witnessed Messi's emotional farewell. After the game, Messi expressed his gratitude and love for his fans, saying he will miss them all. He had played his 208th international match and scored his 126th goal for Argentina, both of which were record-breaking feats. The celebrations following his final appearance were immense, with landmarks across Argentina adorned in the team's sky blue and white colors, and fireworks lighting up the night sky. Messi's family and some of Argentina's legendary World Cup winners were present to witness the emotional event. Hours before the match, a special number 10 shirt with the word \"Gracias\" (\"Thank you\") was displayed at his hometown, Rosario. As Messi entered the pitch against Benin, the team captain, Sessi D Almeida, presented him with a gift and letter during the pre-match handshake. The atmosphere in the stadium was electric, with the crowd chanting Messi's name and raising their voices in support during a rendition of Argentina's national anthem. The final whistle signaled the end of an extraordinary 21-year career for the Argentine football legend, who is now the country's most-capped player and record scorer.",
