"account": "The New York Yankees are staring down the possibility of a 17th consecutive season without a World Series title, after being down 2-0 to the Tampa Bay Rays in the AL Division Series. Pitcher Max Fried acknowledged the importance of pride and determination, stating \"That's not us and we're going to prove it\". After committing four errors in a disappointing Game 2 performance, the Yankees returned home early Tuesday morning. The best-of-five series resumes in the Bronx on Wednesday night, with Fried pitching for New York and Nick Martinez for Tampa Bay. A loss would extend the drought to a record 17 seasons. Manager Aaron Boone expressed confidence in the team's ability to bounce back, while Rays pitcher Nick Martinez recalled sitting in the Yankee Stadium bleachers as a college student. Teams with a 2-0 lead in such series have won 83 of 93 times historically. The last comeback from an 0-2 deficit occurred during the 2017 Yankees' playoff run against Cleveland. Errors played a significant role in New York's 5-2 defeat, with three unearned runs scored due to mistakes. This marks the third time in back-to-back games that the Yankees have committed multiple errors, leading to unearned runs. The team has struggled with offensive production, ranking 24th in runs and 27th in OPS since Judge's injury.",
