"account": "Apple is reportedly working with LG to develop a range of smart home products, including a doorbell, thermostat, smart lock, indoor security camera, outdoor security camera, and floodlight camera. According to Bloomberg, these devices and sensors are part of a \"formal reboot of HomeKit,\" marking Apple's push into the connected home. Though Apple and LG are co-developing the accessories, they will carry the LG brand, and LG will handle manufacturing and product support. The South Korean firm has obtained regulatory approvals, including from the US Federal Communications Commission and UL Solutions. The products are not expected to hit the market for a few months. Apple aims to give its home ecosystem a boost by introducing additional offerings, such as a privacy-centric home-monitoring device and an in-home security monitoring service.",
