"account": "Actress and veteran Nollywood actor, Pete Edochie has called for increased investment in Ghana's film industry to help it regain its former glory. The film industry once commanded global attention, but now appears to have lost its appeal. Edochie believes Ghana possesses exceptional acting talent, but cautions that the production of films has significantly declined. During an interview on TV3's The Afternoon Show, Edochie lamented the diminishing presence of Ghanaian performers on the world stage. He suggests that the solution may lie in wealthy individuals who can provide the necessary funding to support new productions. Edochie urged stakeholders to make a direct appeal to these individuals for assistance. He also expressed his implicit confidence in the President, believing that he would respond positively if approached to support the industry. Edochie remains confident that the government can also play a role in revitalizing Ghana's film industry, stating that financial backing and commitment will be crucial in giving the talent the opportunity to create again.",
