"account": "On November 27, the annual Record Store Day Black Friday event returns, despite its well-documented issues. Founded in 2008 to support independent music shops, the event has since become a clearinghouse for rare and sometimes ridiculous vinyl releases. While some stores have refused to participate due to profitability and distribution concerns, there are still some gems worth seeking out. Here are the Pitchfork staff's top picks from this year's lineup:\n\nDavid Axelrod's \"Frank Black: Teenager Of The Year\" is one such record. Pierre Bourne's \"The Life of Pi erre 4\" is another noteworthy release on the list. Fans of electronic music may appreciate Fischerspooner's \"#1 Funkadelic: Live at Meadowbrook 1971.\" Vince Guaraldi's \"A Charlie Brown Christmas (Advent Calendar Edition)\" brings a nostalgic touch to the vinyl collection. Carly Rae Jepsen's \"Day and Night (Continued)\" is a fresh take on a popular song.\n\nLil Wayne's \"No Ceilings\" offers a modern twist, while Joni Mitchell's \"Live at Carnegie Hall - 1972\" provides an intimate glimpse into the legendary folk singer's performance. Stevie Nicks' \"Bella Donna\" and Masayoshi Takanaka's \"Super Selection\" are also included in the list. Tom Verlaine's \"Live in NYC 1996 - 2006\" and Bill Withers' \"Bill Withers in Concert - Live at the BBC, 1974\" round out the top picks.",
