"account": "On October 6, the White House sought to clarify President Donald Trump's controversial remarks about Los Angeles and San Diego at a Nebraska rally. Trump stated that Iran taking out US cities like LA and San Diego would be a \"very small price to pay\" for preventing Iran from developing nuclear weapons. The White House Communications Director, Steven Cheung, claimed the remarks were misunderstood and misrepresented in a \"media freakout.\" Critics, including California Governor Gavin Newsom and Republican politicians, denounced Trump's comments as reckless and dangerous, while supporters argued the remarks were being taken out of context.",
