"account": "Lionel Messi was honored with an honorary doctorate from the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) on Tuesday before his final match with the Argentine national team. The ceremony took place at the Argentine Football Association's training complex in Ezeiza, with UBA chancellor Ricardo Gelpi and Emiliano Yacobitta presenting Messi with the medal and diploma. Messi expressed his gratitude for the recognition, calling it an \"honor\" and a \"very special\" day. He emphasized that the award highlighted values such as excellence, perseverance, humility, and ethical practice in his career and commitment to representing Argentina. The UBA approved granting Messi the honorary doctorate unanimously last week, citing his sporting achievements, social activism, and the bond he has maintained with his origins. Gelpi noted that Messi's career transcended sports, projecting Argentina onto the international stage and becoming a significant figure in the nation's history. Since 2007, Messi has also been the founder of the Leo Messi Foundation, dedicated to promoting health, education, and sports for children and adolescents in vulnerable situations, and has served as a Goodwill Ambassador for UNICEF since 2010.",
