"account": "A Vietnamese man, Tang Ngoc Nho, has been arrested in Phuket, Thailand, following an alleged property sales scheme estimated to be worth over 150 million Thai baht. Thai immigration officers detained the 50-year-old man on October 6, 2025, as part of a joint operation involving Phuket Immigration, Tourist Police, Special Branch Police, and INTERPOL. The alleged scheme involved selling land and other properties across 10 projects, with Tang entrusted to manage funds from the sales. Vietnamese authorities claim he failed to transfer the proceeds to rightful owners and subsequently fled Vietnam. A warrant for Tang's arrest was issued by Vietnamese police on May 12, 2026, which led INTERPOL to issue a Red Notice seeking his location and detention. Thai authorities revoked Tang's permit to remain in the country after receiving information about the warrant. He was found near a shopping center in Phuket's Chalong district and is now being transferred to Vietnamese authorities for legal proceedings. The operation, part of MAHARLIKA 5, also involves investigations into other alleged land sales and misappropriations totaling around 260 million baht.",
