"account": "Sercotel, a prominent hotel chain, recently announced plans to open a new four-star hotel in Los Alcázares, Murcia, Spain, set to debut in mid-2027. This development, situated opposite Serena Golf, will feature 85 rooms, swimming pools, an on-site restaurant, and event spaces designed for leisure, sport, and social gatherings. Additionally, an adjoining plot will accommodate padel courts and areas for activities like CrossFit, HYROX, and boxing. A children's club and poolside bar are also part of the plans.\n\nThe new four-star hotel will be the chain's sixth property in the Region of Murcia. Sercotel currently operates four-star hotels in Murcia city (Amistad and JC1), Cartagena (Alfonso XIII) and Puerto Lumbreras (Carlos III), as well as a three-star hotel in Puerto Lumbreras (Riscal). The opening of this hotel will add a sixth four-star option to the municipality's existing 11 tourism establishments, which include eight hotels, one aparthotel, and two guesthouses.\n\nThis project is part of Sercotel's broader strategy to expand its presence along Spain’s Mediterranean coast.
