"summary": "The Ground Forces of Ukraine have established a new Drone Forces structure under the command of Col. Andrii Ostapenko, according to a news conference held in Kyiv on October 6. Ostapenko, who heads the Unmanned Systems Directorate of the Ground Forces Command, clarified that the Drone Forces are not a separate branch of the military and will operate within combined-arms brigades, corps-level drone units, and unmanned ground vehicles. The new structure aims to develop drone capabilities and coordinate drone units, emphasizing their integration within the Ground Forces. Their motto, \"On the ground, in the air, everywhere,\" highlights their deep integration within the military. The announcement comes as Ukraine expands the use of unmanned systems in combat operations, with recent strikes reported against targets in Russia, including oil refineries, seaports, and military installations.",
